Welcome!
Abby, her husband, Corey, kids Maddie and Sam and pets Gus and Joey live in East Bloomington. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in statistics and works as a data scientist at State Farm analyzing data to ensure that the company is operating efficiently.
She has fostered two children, worked on Unit 5’s community engagement initiative, served on Heartland Theater’s Board of Directors and has volunteered with numerous community groups including the McLean County Cemetery Walk, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and our local Boy Scouts.
Abby is running to be your representative on the Bloomington City Council because she believes you deserve someone that will:

Cut red tape and aggressively grow our business footprint to reduce our property tax burden and spend tax revenue efficiently.

Keep our community safe by providing the funding needed to support law enforcement, first responders, and mental health services.

Improve local infrastructure, such roads, sidewalks, and sewers.

Work with Normal Town Council, Unit 5 Schools and our County Board so that we can face challenges together.
